Job summary

Sand Cherry Associates is seeking a Data Engineer to build and operationalize data, monitoring, and analytics capabilities for network performance. You will work with the DataMiner cloud platform to create scalable data pipelines, dashboards, and alerts supporting executive insights.

The ideal candidate combines data engineering and BI skills with an understanding of network telemetry and service performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Skyline DataMiner to pull and analyze telemetry and performance data.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills for large datasets.
• Experience building automated analytics, alerting, or reporting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for network and performance data.
• Integrate data from DataMiner and other monitoring systems.
• Develop scalable data models for analytics, monitoring, and dashboards.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for work orders and network metrics.
• Configure DataMiner as a centralized monitoring platform with metrics, triggers, and alerts.
• Aggregate data from distributed sources to provide a consolidated performance view.
• Analyze high-volume telemetry from weather events, outages, and recovery events.
• Translate data into actionable insights for technical and executive stakeholders.
