Job summary

Sand Cherry Associates is seeking a Data Engineer to build and operationalize data pipelines, monitoring, and analytics for network performance. You will work with DataMiner and Power BI to transform vast telemetry into dashboards and executive insights.

Qualifications

• Experience with Skyline DataMiner to pull and analyze telemetry, availability, recovery, and performance data.
• Experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI, with automated analytics/event-driven workflows.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills; dashboards and reporting using Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for large volumes of network and performance data.
• Integrate data from DataMiner and other monitoring systems; develop scalable data models.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting for work orders and network metrics.
• Configure DataMiner as centralized monitoring; establish metrics, triggers, and alerts.
• Aggregate data from distributed sources to create a consolidated view of performance.
• Analyze telemetry during weather events, outages, and recovery events; monitor service continuity.
• Translate complex data into measurable indicators and monitoring criteria.
• Automate recurring performance reporting for post-event analysis and insights.
• Identify trends and anomalies; translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Create clear reporting for technical and executive audiences; collaborate across teams.
