Job summary

Five Rivers Analytics seeks a versatile Data Engineer with strong Databricks hands-on experience to build, optimize, and maintain robust data pipelines for the LADS program in a remote role based in South Carolina.

You will structure scalable Delta Lake lakehouses, implement CDC and SCD architectures, and deliver secure, auditable, high-performance data products for downstream consumers.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• 8+ years experience or 6+ years with a Master’s.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.
• Experience with Databricks and Delta Lake.
• Experience in Agile/SAFe environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Databricks Workflows.
• Implement CDC and SCD patterns in Delta Lake for historical accuracy.
• Architect lakehouse structures using Bronze-Silver-Gold layers to clean and enrich data.
• Oversee data governance with Unity Catalog and ensure secure access controls.
• Collaborate with dashboard developers, data analysts, and data scientists to capture data requirements.
