Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a 100% remote Sr. Data Engineer for our jewelry insurance client. This candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining data pipelines, data integrations, and data products; technical pipeline development and improvement efforts. Essential duties and responsibilities include:

1. Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products
2. Collaborate with other Data, BI, and Test engineers to review design, code, and test plans
3. Work with the team to ensure defined standards are followed
4. Utilize CI/CD frameworks for data pipelines
5. Work across teams to resolve operational and performance issues
6. Create technical documentation and data flow diagrams

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in science, technology, or related field
• 5+ years of data engineering experience
• 3+ years with Cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, Airflow
• 4+ years of data warehouse, relational database, and SQL experience
• Supporting ETL processes and job scheduling experience
• 3+ years of Business Intelligence solutions, reports, dashboards
• Strong Python programming experience
• Experience with Airflow, Databricks, AWS, Azure Cloud services, Docker, SQL, Google BigQuery
• Development experience with cloud database technologies
• Experience in real-time data processing
• Possesses a Master's Degree
• Azure Certifications and/or Data Factory experience
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments
