Job summary

SafeRide Health is seeking a Data Engineer to build the data foundation for our healthcare claims capabilities. The role blends hands-on engineering with long-term solution design and partners with Data and AI teams to scale our claims architecture.

You will extract and model claims data, design data pipelines, and drive accuracy and performance for scalable healthcare data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 3+ years of professional SQL and data modeling experience.
• Proficiency with Python for data engineering and automation.
• Strong data warehousing and star-schema modeling experience.
• Experience with AWS data services and data pipelines.
• Experience with Airflow or similar workflow tools.
• Experience with healthcare claims, billing, or related data.

Responsibilities

• Extract, cleanse, organize, and model claims data for downstream use.
• Use SQL as a primary tool, with Python for automation and validation.
• Design and implement the claims data model and pipelines.
• Collaborate with the AI team to develop end-to-end claims solutions.
• Improve claims accuracy, quality, and scalability by evaluating data impacts.
