Job summary

SafeRide Health is seeking a Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer with Healthcare Encounters experience to own the encounters data workflows. You will build scalable pipelines, ingest and process response files, and measure encounter performance using SQL and Python while collaborating with internal teams to improve data completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional experience building with SQL and Python.
• Experience in data warehousing and data modeling, including star-schema modeling and report design.
• Experience with AWS Data Services (Redshift, Athena, S3, DMS, Glue, SageMaker).
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Demonstrated ownership and ability to design and implement data solutions in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical encounters workflow and reduce single-point-of-failure risk.
• Build encounter files and scalable pipelines for delivery to third parties.
• Ingest and process response files and create systems to measure encounter performance.
• Use SQL and Python to develop, automate, validate, and troubleshoot data workflows.
• Partner with internal teams to improve encounter completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
