Anika Systems is a remote-friendly technology solutions firm helping federal agencies tackle complex challenges. We seek a Data Analyst to design and maintain data pipelines in Databricks, perform large-scale analytics, and deliver actionable insights for OCDO and OPQ on a federal contract.

You will work with SQL, PySpark, Python, and BI tools to transform diverse data into governance-ready assets, supporting mission decisions in a secure federal environment.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain government clearance.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in SQL with complex joins, window functions, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks using PySpark and Python.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models for analytics and reporting.
• Automate data ingestion from APIs, flat files, relational databases, and streaming feeds.
• Monitor data pipelines, resolve quality issues, and implement logging and alerts.
• Collaborate with data architects to define data schemas and performance optimizations.
• Create self-service analytics dashboards using Databricks SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Document pipelines, data models, and notebooks for audit readiness and transfer of knowledge.
