Job summary

Cotiviti, a remote-first organization in the United States, is seeking a Data Engineer to manage data workflows, validation, and analytics. You will write SQL scripts, optimize queries, and create dashboards while ensuring data integrity and security.

The role involves collaboration with engineering and DBA teams, supporting after-hours work if needed, and contributing to performance reviews and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of working knowledge of RDBMS and SQL/PL-SQL or ETL tools.
• 2+ years of data analysis, healthcare data experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.
• Flexible work schedule and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with JIRA or similarPM tools.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain and execute basic to intermediate SQL scripts for data management and data validation.
• Optimize queries to improve daily task efficiency.
• Perform data analysis and identify issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering/DBA teams to troubleshoot environment/network issues and extend after-hours support as needed.
• Create and maintain dashboards as needed.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards.
