TriWest Healthcare Alliance is seeking a Data Engineer to design and develop ETL processes, moving data from source feeds to target systems such as SQL Server and Snowflake using Data Bricks in an Azure cloud environment.

The role requires 3+ years in data engineering, DoD background screening, and strong SQL/Data Bricks expertise, with emphasis on SDLC and DevOps practices within healthcare data contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with programming and database coursework or equivalent
• U.S. Citizen
• Able to obtain favorable DoD background investigation
• 3+ years' Data Engineering experience
• 1+ year with Data Bricks in Azure
• Experience gathering requirements from cross-functional teams
• Experience with SDLC processes and DevOps

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with users, analysts, developers, DBAs and PMs on reporting needs
• Works with data architect to create data models for reporting databases
• Implements changes and provides post-implementation support
• Identifies and advocates beneficial change opportunities
• Acts as a technical resource for data users and admins
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, privacy and government security policies
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Regular and reliable attendance is required
