Job summary

The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine is seeking a Data Engineer to architect and maintain the enterprise data infrastructure for the Office of Medical Education, migrating legacy processes to a scalable cloud-based lake house and developing ETL pipelines in Google Cloud.

You will lead reporting and analytics, ensure SOP/GCP compliance, and mentor technical staff while collaborating with research, clinical and development teams. This role requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field.
• 9-10 years experience in data engineering or analytics.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect and sustain the enterprise data infrastructure for the Office of Medical Education.
• Migrate legacy processes to a scalable cloud-based lakehouse (e.g., BigQuery).
• Develop and maintain Google Cloud ETL pipelines to ingest data from SIS, Canvas LMS, Learning Space, and future sources.
• Oversee data management, SOP/GCP compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead reporting and analytical solutions for stakeholders and support high-volume learning analytics.
