Job summary

Trilogy Federal seeks an experienced Data Engineer to implement a functional SSAS environment, build reports, and design data models. You will work with a federal client remotely, applying tabular, relational, and multidimensional modeling to transform raw data into actionable insights.

Requirements include 8+ years in the field, strong SQL/JAVA/JAVAScript skills, and Power BI reporting experience. Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure) and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree.
• 6+ years with JAVA and JAVA Script.
• 3+ years with SQL.
• Define and develop new reporting and data queries using SQL, SSAS, and SSIS.
• Experience building both star and snowflake schemas.
• Working knowledge of tabular, relational, and multidimensional data models.
• Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Experience building complex dashboards and reports with Power BI.
• Expert-level understand of ETL, data pipeline, and data warehousing concepts.
• Self-starter able to work independently and within a team.
• Flexibility and the ability to react to rapidly changing requirements.
• The ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Trilogy Federal is looking for a remote Data Engineer with working knowledge of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and Power BI to join our growing company and support our federal client. Our ideal candidate will contribute effectively towards our team goals and ensure exceptional customer experience for our client and their employees.

We are seeking an experienced candidate who has prior implementation skills to implement a functional SSAS environment. The selected candidate must have working knowledge of tabular and multidimensional data models, in addition to experience documenting logical and physical data models.

Primary Responsibilities

• Implement a functional SSAS environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of overall professional experience and bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with JAVA and JAVA Script
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with SQL
• Define and develop new reporting and data queries using SQL, SSAS, and SSIS
• Experience building both star and snowflake schemas
• Working knowledge of tabular, relational, and multidimensional data models
• Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
• Experience building complex dashboards and reports with Power BI
• Expert-level understand of ETL, data pipeline, and data warehousing concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience generating data models and analytics of a financial nature including budgeting, financial management, or personnel environment.
• Preferred VA experience but not required

$115,000 - $130,000 a year

This range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as Trilogy Federal conducts an individual equity review for every candidate based on experience, location, education, industry experience, and comparisons to internal pay bands.
