Job summary

Ericsson Inc. is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure in data center environments.

This role suits technicians with experience in data center operations, telecommunications, structured cabling, or IT infrastructure and independent work style. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, equipment provisioning, testing, and operational support while adhering to Ericsson and customer standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, telecommunications, field services, or IT infrastructure support.
• Knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking equipment, power distribution systems, and structured cabling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, installation documentation, and methods of procedure (MOPs).

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, storage equipment, and related infrastructure per designs and docs.
• Route, terminate, and dress copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling and cable management.
• Install PDUs, connect to power sources, and verify power and management connectivity.
• Provision equipment, install hardware components, and manage out-of-band connections.
• Perform testing and validation including continuity and fiber verification.
• Conduct MACD activities and FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, inventory, and as-built docs.
• Elevate design concerns, operational issues, and safety risks to seniors.
