Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation and maintenance of infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise data centers. You will perform rack-and-stack, cabling, provisioning, testing and operational support, following safety and customer standards.

The role targets technicians with data center operations, telecommunications or IT infrastructure experience, who can work independently on standard deployment tasks while collaborating with project teams

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma, technical certification or equivalent.
• 1+ years of data center operations or related IT infrastructure experience.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers and power distribution.
• Understanding of copper and fiber cabling practices and basic optical networking.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and MOPs.
• Experience with rack-and-stack, cabling and testing under minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to collaborate with technicians, project teams, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform rack-and-stack, cabling and testing activities to install equipment.
• Provision equipment and configure basic network and power components.
• Support operations and maintenance per procedures and safety standards.
• Coordinate with teams and vendors to complete tasks on schedule.
