Matrix is a global technology services and consulting company delivering advanced data center networking solutions. You will lead planning, design, and implementation of high‑performance data center networks supporting AI factories and large‑scale computing.

As a Data Center Network Engineer, you will engage with customers to gather requirements, validate designs via PoCs or lab simulations, and help shape our technical strategy through collaboration with engineering and product marketing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on networking experience (Layer 2/3, Ethernet switch configuration, TCP/IP, data center architectures).
• Ability to engage directly with customers to gather requirements, design fabric architectures, and validate solutions via lab simulations or PoCs.
• Strong experience configuring and troubleshooting VXLAN‑EVPN‑based data center fabrics.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Ansible, Salt, or Puppet.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or CS; CCNP or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert Ethernet guidance throughout the customer lifecycle—designing, architecting, and validating modern data center networks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support server infrastructure, GPU workloads, and AI/ML deployments.
• Create and evaluate DevOps automation to streamline network operations, including templates, pipelines, and switch provisioning.
• Implement and validate network architectures across customer data centers for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Support customer design workshops, testing cycles, and PoCs.
