Job summary

Matrix seeks a Data Center Network Engineer to lead planning, design, and implementation of advanced data center networks for AI factories, accelerated computing, and enterprise environments. You’ll architect high‑performance infrastructures and drive technology adoption with engineering and product marketing input.

You will design fabric architectures, validate solutions in labs, and streamline operations with automation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands‑on networking experience as specified.
• Engage with customers to gather requirements and design fabric architectures.
• Experience with VXLAN‑EVPN data center fabrics.
• Automation experience with Ansible, Salt, or Puppet for network ops.
• Ability to work independently and document deployments for handovers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert Ethernet guidance across customer engagements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for GPU‑augmented workloads and AI/ML deployments.
• Create and evaluate DevOps automation for network ops and provisioning.
• Implement and validate architectures across data centers for scalability and performance.
• Support design workshops, PoCs, and testing cycles.
