Job summary

AddSource is seeking an experienced Data Center Migration Project Manager to lead end-to-end data center migration initiatives. You will plan, coordinate, and execute migrations from legacy environments to new data centers or cloud platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT infrastructure project management experience.
• Experience leading data center migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure, networking and storage.
• Familiarity with change management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle data center migration projects including planning, execution, and closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and migration runbooks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, network, security and application teams.
• Manage rack decommissioning, server migration, and asset tracking.
• Oversee physical and logical migration activities (server relocation, storage, network connectivity).
• Identify dependencies, risks and mitigation strategies.
• Work with stakeholders to ensure change management and communication plans are followed.
• Validate network connectivity, firewall rules, and port configurations during migration.
• Ensure proper documentation of legacy systems and migration activities.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to leadership.
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and operational standards.
• Coordinate with vendors, data center providers, and on-site teams.
