Job summary

DataBank Holdings Ltd. is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background to join DataBank Infrastructure Engineering.

You will design, build, and support mission-critical data center facilities, ensuring systems meet standards and operate reliably across sites nationwide. The role requires travel to sites, review of submittals, development of MOPs, and collaboration with procurement and consulting firms to deliver efficient, safe, and scalable data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in data center design, maintenance, and operations.
• Strong knowledge of data center HVAC systems and power distribution topologies.
• Familiarity with building codes (IMC, ASHRAE) and CFD analysis.
• Travel to multiple sites across the United States as needed.
• Ability to travel and work off-hours for outages and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Colo Engineering, Construction, Facilities, Operations, Sustainability, and Sales teams.
• Review equipment submittals & RFIs for construction and procurement.
• Assist with development of MOPs and SOOs for facility systems.
• Perform site or data hall capacity analysis and assist with audits and RFPs.
• Support startup, commissioning, and testing; review scripts for safety and uptime.
• Review energy conservation initiatives and optimize facility performance.
• Direct 3rd party engineering firms to meet DataBank standards.
• Collaborate with Procurement for equipment selection and stocking.
