Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Data Center Commissioning Project Engineer (ME/EE) for a fully remote role with up to 75% travel. You will lead electrical and/or mechanical commissioning activities on data center projects, review design documents, develop functional test plans, and coordinate with construction teams to ensure startup success.

Qualifications

2+ years of data center commissioning experience in electrical or mechanical systems.
Willingness to travel up to 75% for project work.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
Experience diagnosing construction and operational problems.
Knowledge of building codes and standards such as ASHRAE/LEED.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing data center projects to meet client expectations.
Perform construction observations and review contract documents.
Develop functional test plans and execute tests for mechanical and controls systems.
Contribute to energy studies and design/energy projects.
