Job summary

Jobot, a Fortune 500 Engineering, Energy, and Infrastructure Firm, is seeking a Data Center Commissioning Project Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) for a remote role. You will support commissioning of critical data center projects and work across electrical and mechanical systems with hands-on responsibility and travel up to 75%.

The role requires 2+ years in data center commissioning, strong problem-solving, and knowledge of codes such as ASHRAE/LEED.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center commissioning experience (Electrical/Mechanical).
• Willingness to travel up to 75% for project work (expenses paid).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and solving construction and operational problems.
• Experience managing design/energy services commissioning resources to scope, fee, and schedule.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards (ASHRAE, LEED).

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on data center commissioning activities for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Develop and execute functional test plans and test scripts.
• Coordinate with project teams and manage resources within scope, schedule and budget.
• Travel to sites as needed and ensure quality and safety compliance.
