Job summary

You will work with Data Architecture, Data Operations, and cross-functional teams to build Silver and Gold data products, promote through governed CI/CD pipelines, and ensure quality, security, and cost controls across the data platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production-grade data solutions.
• A genuine 50/50 blend of business fluency and hands-on engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Spark, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Python.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and Teradata in a Databricks-first stack.
• Expert knowledge of dimensional and medallion (Silver / Gold) modeling.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and controlled promotion to production.
• Performance-tuning and cost-optimizing Spark and SQL transformations at scale.
• Familiarity with data governance and cataloging tooling such as Collibra.
• Automated data-quality testing and validation built into every solution.
• Demonstrated ability to learn a new data domain fast and apply AI/automation.

Responsibilities

• Build production-grade data solutions via MVP that meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture and Data Analysis teams to align designs.
• Deliver governed, production-ready assets and promote them through CI/CD workflows.
• Partner with Platform Engineering/IT and Data Ops to ensure governance, security, and cost controls.
