Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Data Builder to turn architectural designs and business requirements into reliable, reusable data products. You will work hands-on to build MVP data assets, aligned with Silver/Gold data models, and ensure production readiness through CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with Data Architecture, Data Analysis, and Platform teams to deliver scalable, governed data solutions and to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality and governance across a global data

Qualifications

• 7+ years building production‑grade data solutions with analytics engineering or equivalent business‑plus‑build work.
• 50/50 blend of business fluency and hands‑on engineering discipline.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks, Spark, Unity Catalog, SQL, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Rapid Build & Delivery: turn designs and requirements into MVP-grade, production-ready data assets.
• Build silver structures to enterprise Silver model and promote to production via CI/CD pipelines.
• Deliver gold data products through MVP-first development and governed promotions.
• Move data through CI/CD with quality, security, and cost gates on first pass.
• Collaborate with Data Architecture, Data Analysis, and Platform teams to align on standards and governance.
