Deckers Brands is seeking a Data Architecture Lead to shape enterprise data foundations and translate architecture standards into domain-aligned designs. You will collaborate across engineering, analytics, governance, and data teams to enable trusted data products, analytics, and future AI use cases.

Ideal candidates have 8–12 years in data architecture, experience with modern cloud data ecosystems (AWS), and a strong understanding of data products, metadata, and event-driven data flows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Director, Data Architecture to implement enterprise data architecture standards.
• Lead architecture design for domains, including conceptual, logical, and physical data structures.
• Define domain-aligned data definitions and semantic consistency to support unified business entities and metrics.
• Develop patterns for batch and streaming data, including event-driven flows and canonical representations.
• Collaborate with data engineering to translate designs into scalable AWS implementations.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
