Job summary

Trace3 is actively seeking a Data Architect to join the Data and Analytics Services team. This client-facing role blends hands-on architecture, technical leadership, and delivery oversight to design, modernize, govern, and operationalize data platforms for analytics and AI.

You will guide engineering teams, set practical architecture standards, evaluate platform trade-offs, and ensure secure, scalable solutions aligned to business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, analytics engineering, or related consulting.
• Hands-on production experience with at least two data platforms: Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data integration, lakehouse and warehouse patterns, governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture reviews and design governance across delivery lifecycles.
• Mentor engineers and architects through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Build reusable accelerators, templates, and reference architectures for Data & Analytics practice.
• Explain technical decisions and business impact to varied audiences.
• Contribute to proposals, statements of work, and client demonstrations.
