Job summary

CAI is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support data analytics, cleansing, dashboard reporting, and quality review. This full-time internship runs remotely with a June–August schedule and requires 40 hours per week during core EST hours. The role emphasizes turning complex data into clear insights for health and human services programs.

You will work with senior staff, gain exposure to CAI's inclusive culture, and participate in the Executive Connections Program and community outreach projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in data analytics, statistics, health informatics, economics or related field
• Coursework or project experience in data analysis, statistics or research methods
• GPA 3.5 or higher
• Proficiency with PC hardware and Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with Excel features (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP) and data cleaning
• SQL querying for data retrieval, filtering and aggregation
• Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau for dashboards
• Ability to translate data into clear summaries for non-technical audiences
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Interest in performance metrics and KPIs

Responsibilities

• Assist with data analytics and reporting in health and human services program areas
• Support data cleansing and dashboard development
• Contribute to data quality reviews and program reporting
