Job summary

SouthState Bank offers a 10-week Data Analytics Internship Program for undergraduate students to gain hands-on exposure to enterprise data, analytics and business intelligence within a leading financial institution.

Interns will develop dashboards, analyze trends, and transform data with Power BI, SQL, Snowflake and other tools while mentored by experienced professionals to deliver insights that support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills required.
• Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Snowflake, Streamlit, Python or R preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data analysis, dashboard development, reporting and BI initiatives.
• Create and enhance reports and visualizations using Power BI and related tools.
• Work with data engineers, analysts, and business partners to gather requirements and deliver insights.
• Utilize SQL and enterprise data platforms to analyze information and support data-driven decisions.
