Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is seeking a Data Analytics and Infrastructure System Administrator to integrate corporate data assets from multiple sources and deliver insightful reports and visualizations that guide business decisions.

The role involves extracting data from data warehouses, optimizing workflows, and delivering analytics solutions using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS. Remote, hybrid, or onsite work is permitted under the Telecommuting Policy.

Qualifications

Five years of IT or application development experience.
Experience with ETL tools and data integration.
Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS for reporting.

Responsibilities

Extract, analyze, and transform data to support BI and reporting needs.
Develop data integration solutions across sources and vendors.
Maintain documentation of data sources, rules, and processing methods.
Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and IT to align data solutions with business needs.
Support and optimize reporting/visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS).
Develop data solutions using SQL and scripting; leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
Mentor colleagues and promote self-service analytics.
