Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is seeking a Data Analytics and Infrastructure System Administrator to integrate corporate data assets for insightful reporting. You will extract, transform, and visualize data to drive business strategy and decisions.

You will work with SQL, ETL, and BI tools like Power BI/Tableau, and collaborate across IT and business teams to deliver data solutions and analytics in a hybrid/remote/on-site setup per policy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT and/or application development.
• Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
• Knowledge of data lakes, relational databases and data models.
• Hands-on reporting with Power BI, Tableau, SSRS; familiarity with cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Extract, analyze, and transform data to support BI and reporting needs.
• Develop data integration solutions across sources to support analytics.
• Maintain a knowledge repository of data sources and business rules.
• Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders, and IT to align data solutions with needs.
• Support reporting tools and visualizations (Power BI/Tableau/SSRS).
• Develop data solutions using SQL and scripting for data manipulation.
• Utilize cloud and big data tools (AWS, Azure, Spark) for analytics.
• Provide mentorship and promote self-service analytics.
