Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of experience, including one within DoD, with big-data systems and production-level data models.
• Skills in machine learning tools to select features, create and optimize classifiers.
• Familiarity with U.S. Army organization and regulations; strong writing, organization and communication.
• Strong data science, machine learning and statistical modeling background.
• Ability to communicate complex technical findings to diverse audiences.
• Experience with SQL, Excel, R or Python for data analysis, data visualization and presentation; Power BI, Tableau, Advana preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze military operational data to inform strategic decision-making.
• Clean and preprocess large datasets related to Army operations, logistics, personnel, and intelligence.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs and metrics for Army leadership.
• Perform geospatial analysis to support mission planning, resource allocation, and situational awareness.
• Conduct data mining and exploratory data analysis to extract insights from diverse military datasets.
