Job summary

Portcast is a Singapore-based logistics tech startup delivering a real-time visibility platform for global supply chains. We’re hiring a Data Analyst who will own data quality, build scalable workflows, and work with Data Science, Engineering, and Commercial teams to turn data into actionable insights.

You will chase anomalies, fix data issues at the source, and develop dashboards that inform operations, marketing, and product decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• At least 3+ years in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role.
• Exceptionally skilled in Python and SQL with reusable, scalable code.
• Eye for detail: find anomalies before customers do, and visualize messy data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Documentation, reporting, and root-cause analysis of prediction issues end-to-end.
• Analyze ingested and system data for anomalies and gaps, refer to data sources to plug gaps.
• Turn data into stories: surface patterns, propose fixes, own plan and execution.
• Automate performance/accuracy review processes, reports, and data visualization using Python and SQL.
• Support Engineering/Data Science on system-level data fixes and improvements.
• Support Customer Operations and Marketing with insights from data.
• Maintain internal and customer dashboards based on trial/account requirements.
