LMI is seeking a Data Analyst to support a major VA office through data analysis, reporting, business process improvement, and Microsoft Power Platform solutions. The analyst will translate business questions into data requirements and deliver decision-ready dashboards and reports.

The role involves collaborating with project managers, developers, and VA stakeholders to shape analytical approaches, ensure data quality, and communicate findings clearly within a federal environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 5+ years of data analysis, BI, or reporting experience with independent ownership of analyses.

Responsibilities

• Build, update, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards across approved data sources.
• Write and adapt SQL queries to extract, filter, and validate data across sources.
• Perform data cleansing, reconciliation, and quality checks; identify discrepancies and coordinate resolution.
• Translate stakeholder questions into data requirements, metrics, and reporting outputs; document processes and limitations.
• Assist with simple Power Apps, Dataverse tables/forms, and Power Automate workflows.
