Job summary

The Providencia Group is seeking a Data Analyst to join our remote team. You will create insightful reports and perform comprehensive data analysis using Power BI, Dataverse, and other platforms to streamline data practices.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of Power BI experience, strong analytics, and the ability to develop scalable data models. This remote role may involve occasional travel and requires a dedicated home workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and custom visuals.
• Experience with data cleaning and validation principles and techniques.
• Experience developing data collection and reporting systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, including data integration, data management, and configuration.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with databases or data warehouses.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to convey data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and maintenance of Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Architect scalable data models and optimized queries for large datasets.
• Collaborate to integrate Power BI with other business systems.
• Create data relationships, calculated columns, and measures in Power BI.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance within Power BI and Dataverse.
• Develop data visualizations using alternative technologies and techniques.
• Create reliable data pipelines to power analytics.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI.
