Job summary

Minnesota PERA is seeking a Data Analyst to collect, validate, analyze, and report on data used across the organization to support operations and decision-making. You will collaborate with staff, management, and business partners to develop reports and dashboards, research data issues, and ensure data quality for actuarial and business insights.

You’ll help PERA leverage data to support retirement services for Minnesota’s public employees, including engagement with cross‑functional teams on data

Qualifications

Two years experience writing SQL queries and developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
Experience developing, maintaining, or supporting reports, data extracts, dashboards, or other BI tools.
Experience collecting, validating, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends and support decisions.
Experience using Microsoft Excel and other reporting/data analysis tools to organize, reconcile, maintain, and present data.

Responsibilities

Collect, validate, analyze, and report on data used across the organization to support operations and decision‑making.
Develop reports and dashboards in collaboration with staff, management, and business partners.
Identify trends and data quality issues and provide actionable recommendations.
