Job summary

Gartner is seeking an Associate Data Analyst to join the Insights and Product Analytics (IPA) organization, supporting BTI and GPM with data-driven insights across content, client interactions, events, and platform analytics. The role involves structured rotations across four pillars and collaboration with IT and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable outcomes.

You'll work closely with IPA leadership to frame problems, source data, perform analyses, and communicate findings.

Qualifications

• Internship and/or academic experience involving analysis of large data sets.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, operations research, computer science, or economics.
• Ability to analyze data, restructure information, and articulate insights from qualitative and quantitative data.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and initiative; ability to work with stakeholders.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; intermediate SQL, Python or R; Power BI is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to work independently.
• Location: hybrid environment; proximity to Gartner Center locations (Irving, TX; Stamford, CT) and US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IPA and GPM to deliver actionable insights that drive decision-making within BTI and Gartner.
• Communicate findings effectively; build dashboards and reporting as needed.
• Own and deliver key projects with rollout plans, success criteria, and metrics.
• Develop domain expertise on Gartner's data, analytics tools, and data infrastructure; explain data sources to senior audiences.
• Drive IPA process improvements and collaboration with IT and data science teams.
