Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a highly analytical Data Analyst for a fully remote role in the United States. You will develop, maintain, and automate reporting across BI tools, with cross-functional collaboration to support the Inventory Team, Account Managers, Sales, and Finance.

Proficiency in Excel, Python (pandas), and BI tools like Tableau, DOMO, Power BI, and Looker is required. Experience with Git/GitHub and Jira is a plus. Salary ranges from $62,000 to $72,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in data analytics, BI, data operations, or related role.
• Advanced Excel skills with INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, pivots and data reconciliation.
• Proficient in Python with pandas for data cleaning and transformation.
• Deep knowledge of Tableau (LOD, calculated fields, parameters).
• Familiar with DOMO, Magic ETL, Dataflows, Beast Mode, Views.
• Git/GitHub used for version control; Jira for project tracking.
• Experience with advertising platforms like FreeWheel / GAM / Operative is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets with advanced formulas.
• Maintain and enhance Python codebase for reporting and automation.
• Manage BI tools (Tableau, DOMO, Power BI) for analytics needs.
• Troubleshoot reporting errors and data discrepancies in DOMO dashboards.
• Automate custom reports for stakeholders using Python.
• Create ad-hoc analyses and develop additional reports as needed.
• Document processes and SOPs to ensure operational continuity.
