Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Data Analyst for a remote contract engagement. You will partner with business stakeholders to translate needs into data solutions, design metrics and dashboards, and support data quality, metadata, lineage, and governance initiatives.

The ideal candidate has experience with Python or SQL, a BI visualization tool, Snowflake and AWS; knowledge of data governance concepts; and Agile or Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python, R, Spark, or SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with a business intelligence visualization tool.
• Experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake services.
• Experience with AWS services preferred.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management concepts.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business to translate needs into tools, metrics, and dashboards for insights and visualization.
• Drive analyses that yield actionable insights on business strategies.
• Promote and enforce data quality management principles including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
• Collaborate with technology teams to manage security mechanisms and data access governance.
• Build and execute tools to monitor and report on data quality.
