Job summary

Axon is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Architect – Finance (D365 FO) to design, implement, and optimize our Dynamics 365 Finance solutions. The role focuses on modernizing financial processes, enabling AI-driven automation, and ensuring scalable integrations across Axon’s ERP landscape.

You will lead finance-focused projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and report to the Sr. Director of ERP. Remote work is supported with preference for Axon hubs in major cities.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 FO).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and related D365 Finance modules.
• Experience designing and implementing electronic reporting and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects using Agile/SAFe approaches.
• Excellent collaboration with finance leadership, IT, and analytics teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of financial solutions within D365 FO.
• Optimize financial processes across GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Project Accounting.
• Oversee project delivery from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.
• Partner with stakeholders to embed AI and automation in finance workflows.
• Provide training and mentorship to finance teams and analysts.
• Communicate progress and opportunities to senior leadership.
