Nigel Frank International is seeking a D365 Business Central Functional Consultant with hands-on BC experience to join our growing team. This is a fully remote role open to candidates located anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central — ideally in a consulting capacity.
• Strong functional knowledge across core BC modules — Finance and either Sales/Purchasing, Inventory, or Manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading or supporting full lifecycle BC implementations from requirements gathering through go-live.
• Experience facilitating client workshops and requirements sessions with business stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
• Ability to write clear functional design documents, configuration specs, and test scripts.
• Strong communication skills — you can explain complex BC functionality in plain business language and build trust with clients quickly.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
• Must be based in the United States — this role is not open to candidates outside the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support end-to-end D365 Business Central implementations across client environments and industries.
• Conduct discovery workshops and requirements sessions to understand business processes and translate them into BC solutions.
• Configure BC modules based on client requirements — Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse Management, and Manufacturing.
• Create functional design documents, configuration workbooks, gap/fit analyses, and user stories to guide implementation and development work.
• Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to define customizations and extensions when out-of-the-box functionality does not meet client needs.
• Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) — writing test scripts, facilitating testing sessions, and tracking and resolving issues through to go-live.
• Deliver end-user training and support client teams through go-live and hypercare periods.
• Provide post-go-live functional support — diagnosing issues, recommending configuration improvements, and helping clients improve their BC environment.
• Stay current on D365 BC product updates, new features, and roadmap developments to proactively advise clients.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and practice development efforts.
