Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the Defense Travel System (DTS) program within the Defense Mission and Health Solutions Sector. The role requires US citizenship, active DoW Public Trust, and Security+ CE or CISSP certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Linux systems administration experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Wireshark, tcpdump, packet captures and security for network infrastructure
• Minimum 10+ years with BS/BA in lieu of education track for senior level roles (interpreted from qualifications)
• Experience integrating cybersecurity tools into DoW or similar environments
• Experience with STIG checklists and DoW cyber requirements
• Active DoW Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain prior to start

Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity requirements analysis and security systems engineering to integrate new cybersecurity requirements
• Coordinate the integration of new cybersecurity requirements within DTS Program Teams
• Serve as liaison to PMO and customer SMEs for cybersecurity tool compliance
• Manage Fortify/Sonatype workflows and release approvals
• Assist with automating STIG checklist compliance and remediation monitoring
• Use DoW AI resources to analyze audit logs and vulnerability data and automate compliance processes
