Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Senior System Test Engineer to join an Enterprise Zero Trust program for a DoW client. You will review requirements, design test strategies, and execute end‑to‑end cybersecurity testing across systems, working remotely from the USA.

Responsibilities include creating traceability, documenting results, tracking defects, and ensuring compliance with internal and DoW standards while meeting deadlines. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of system testing, software testing, or integration testing in an enterprise/government environment.
• 5+ years’ experience in the development and execution of test procedures and test scripts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly document test results and findings

Responsibilities

• Review system requirements, security requirements, and design documentation to identify testable components and create traceability.
• Define test scope, identify test cases, and establish test methodologies.
• Create comprehensive testing documentation to ensure thorough and consistent testing.
• Determine the most critical areas for testing and focus resources accordingly.
• Execute system, integration, and end-to-end testing for cybersecurity-focused systems and services.
• Document test results, maintain test evidence, and ensure compliance with internal and DoW testing standards.
• Timely execution and reporting of test results are crucial for meeting project deadlines.
• Identify, log, and track defects; collaborate with developers and engineers to reproduce issues and validate fixes.
