Job summary

Naukri Mitra is seeking a Remote Cybersecurity Policy Compliance Operations Specialist to help ensure clients follow security protocols, maintain up-to-date documentation, and support both internal and external audits from a fully remote setup in the United States.

You will review and update policies, track risk assessments, and translate regulatory changes for non-technical teams, all while collaborating with a distributed team to prevent compliance drift.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on cybersecurity operations or IT compliance experience.
• Strong understanding of ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF, or HIPAA.
• Comfort with documentation, audits, and maintaining risk registers.
• Clear and effective communication with non-technical audiences.
• Self-starter mindset for a fully remote role.

Responsibilities

• Review and update cybersecurity policies to meet evolving frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
• Support internal security audits and prep documentation for external audits.
• Track risk assessment activities and flag areas for improvement.
• Monitor regulatory updates and translate them into plain English.
• Help train non-technical teams on security best practices.
