Lyric is seeking an Information Security Intern to join its Security team for a 12-week program, supporting cloud security, IAM, endpoint security, monitoring and vulnerability management. Open to students who have completed at least three years in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields in a US-based remote setting.

The internship provides hands-on experience across SIEM, EDR, IAM concepts, and security automation, with a final project and presentation to Lyric

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or in progress in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Completed third year of undergraduate study prior to start date
• Foundational knowledge in information security/cybersecurity
• Understanding of networks, operating systems, applications and general IT concepts
• Interest in cybersecurity and continuous learning

Aufgaben

• Monitor and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure, networks and endpoints
• Assist with SIEM activities: review events, analyze logs, document findings
• Support IAM activities including SSO, MFA, and access lifecycle management
• Investigate potential security alerts and document findings and next steps
• Participate in vulnerability management lifecycle and remediation tracking
• Document security standards, procedures, and runbooks
• Learn security configurations for cloud, OS, networks and apps
• Contribute to projects in cloud security, data protection, threat detection and automation
• Research emerging cybersecurity threats and share findings with the team
• Present internship findings and recommendations to leadership at conclusion
