Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or related field, with third-year completion expected.
• Foundational knowledge in networks, operating systems, and general IT concepts.
• Familiarity with core cybersecurity concepts (authentication, network security, vulnerability management, monitoring, cloud security, data protection).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment; no prior professional cybersecurity experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain security controls across AWS, Azure, networks, and endpoints.
• Assist SIEM activities: review events, analyze logs, document findings.
• Learn and assist with EDR security monitoring and investigations.
• Support IAM activities including SSO, MFA, RBAC, privileged access.
• Help with vulnerability management lifecycle and remediation tracking.
• Document security standards, procedures, and runbooks.
• Learn security frameworks and apply to cloud infrastructure and OS.
• Contribute to security projects in cloud security and data protection.
• Research emerging threats and share findings with the team.
• Complete internship project and present to Lyric leadership.
