Job summary

Lyric is seeking an Information Security Intern to join our Security team remotely in the United States for a 12‑week program. You’ll work with experienced professionals on cloud security, IAM, SIEM, and vulnerability management while supporting real security operations in a healthcare technology environment.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields, with coursework in networks, OS, and security basics.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Expected to have completed the third year of undergraduate study prior to the start of the internship.
• Academic coursework or foundational knowledge in information security or cybersecurity.
• Foundational understanding of networks, operating systems, applications, and general IT concepts.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts such as authentication, network security, vulnerability management, security monitoring, cloud security, and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Support Security team in monitoring security controls across AWS, Azure, networks, and endpoints.
• Assist with SIEM activities, reviewing events, logs, and documenting findings.
