Job summary

Lyric is hiring a Information Security Intern for a 12-week program designed for students who have completed their third year in information security, cybersecurity, CS, or related fields. The role focuses on cloud security, IAM, SIEM, and vulnerability management within a healthcare tech context.

You will work with experienced security professionals, gain hands-on experience in AWS/Azure, endpoints, and enterprise infrastructure, and contribute to meaningful security projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a related bachelor’s degree with technical coursework in security.
• Strong foundation in networks, operating systems, and cybersecurity basics.
• Ability to analyze problems and document findings clearly.
• Interest in cloud security, IAM, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management.
• Desire to learn in a real enterprise security environment.
• Collaborative team player with eagerness to grow in healthcare tech.

Responsibilities

• Support Security team monitoring and maintaining controls across cloud and endpoints.
• Assist SIEM activities: review events, log analysis, findings documentation.
• Gain exposure to EDR and endpoint security monitoring and investigations.
• Support IAM activities including SSO, MFA, roles, and lifecycle management.
• Document security standards, procedures, and response playbooks.
