Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Cybersecurity Enterprise Architect to provide strategic architectural leadership across the enterprise. This remote role, open to candidates in MO or IL, focuses on translating business strategy into architecture principles, guardrails, and roadmaps while governing rather than delivering project-level solutions.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree, 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in architecture, and broad cloud, data, security, and infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field; master’s a plus.
• 10+ years IT experience with 5+ years in architecture roles across multiple domains.
• Experience with architecture principles, governance, reference architectures, portfolio analysis, modernization planning, and business capability-based planning.
• Broad knowledge across cloud, integration, data, security, infrastructure and applications.
• Strong governance, cross-domain dependency management and resolving architectural conflicts.
• Strong executive communication, facilitation and influence in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates to develop current and future state architectures and implementation plans.
• Leads enterprise proof-of-concept efforts to ensure alignment with business requirements and principles.
• Develops enterprise and domain reference architectures and processes to provide technical guidance.
• Publishes technology standards and collaborates with multi-domain teams to identify issues and solutions.
• Identifies and shares processes for consistent analysis and decision making.
