Job summary

Emprise Bank is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to lead vulnerability management, data loss prevention, IAM, vendor due diligence, and tier-3 end-user support. The role focuses on incident response and proactive security improvements in a banking environment.

The successful candidate will bring strong customer service, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to build relationships with associates and vendors while aligning with Emprise values.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent education combined with industry experience meets job requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of SIEM platforms, malware applications (Windows Defender, Symantec, etc.), threat detection and analysis, patch management systems, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with VMware/Hypervisor, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and Office 365 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operating and forensic activities of the IT Security program including patch management and remediation of security events.
• Stay current on security threats and communicate with leadership; conduct root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain identity and access management solutions and enforce least-privilege access.
• Develop, review, and test DLP controls; identify opportunities to secure data storage and transmission.
• Vet vendors via due diligence surveys; conduct annual reviews and document findings.
• Serve as escalation point for end users; design and implement security solutions.
• Document all phases of resolution with testing and follow-up communication.
