Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a cybersecurity engineer to join a multidisciplinary team coordinating with government customers. You will implement DoD STIGs on IT/OT systems, contribute to RMF assessments, conduct vulnerability scans, and support documentation and process improvements.

Qualified candidates have DoD RMF/NIST knowledge, STIG proficiency, and strong communication skills to support risk management and security engineering efforts.

Qualifications

• Formal degrees in IT, Risk, or Cybersecurity as listed.
• Experience with DoD RMF lifecycle and NIST controls.
• Proficiency with STIGs and vulnerability management tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team, vendors and government customers on security tasks.
• Implement STIGs on IT/OT systems per DoD guidance.
• Support RMF assessment documentation and AO processes.
• Inventory IC/SCADA systems per DoD guidance.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and document findings.
• Support ISO standards and quality inspections.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of cybersecurity posture.
