Cummins Inc. is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Director to lead global initiatives across Application Security, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, and Penetration Testing. This off-site remote role partners with GRC and other stakeholders to align security with business risk and compliance.

The role emphasizes security-by-design, risk prioritization, and measurable risk reduction while enabling secure AI adoption and technologies across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• College or university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• GIAC CISSP or equivalent certifications are preferred (GSEC, CISM, etc).
• Understanding of industrial cybersecurity controls across assets, networks, and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead global Application Security oversight, security-by-design, and SDLC integration.
• Oversee vulnerability management, cloud security, and penetration testing programs.
• Translate technical findings into business risk and drive risk-based prioritization.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Platform, and GRC to remediate risk and improve controls.
• Partner with AI teams to adopt secure AI and mitigate frontier AI risks.
