Job summary

DataDome is seeking a security-minded threat research analyst to join our fully remote team based in the US. You will analyze large web traffic datasets, identify malicious patterns, and help improve our real-time detection engine through automation and scripting (Python preferred).

You\'ll collaborate with threat researchers and data scientists, review past attacks, and contribute to alerts and detection enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years in threat research or security analysis.
• Experience with Python scripting to automate analysis.
• Familiar with network/web infra (HTTP, CDN, DNS, cookies).

Responsibilities

• Providing (tier 2 and 3) support to customers as part of the threat research team.
• Analyzing huge web traffic data sets to identify and block malicious traffic.
• Contribute to support by analyzing past attacks to strengthen detection.
• Collaborate with threat researchers to optimize real-time detection engine capabilities.
• Creating automation/scripts to detect outliers in our global traffic.
• Identifying potential attacks and add new alerts to our detection platform.
