Job summary

Naukri Mitra is seeking a highly skilled Virtual Network Security Risk Analyst for a fully remote role. You’ll monitor global risk patterns, analyze threats, and drive protective strategies to strengthen digital defenses, collaborating with DevSecOps and engineering teams in a remote-first culture.

With 3–5 years in cybersecurity, you’ll apply NIST/ISO 27001 and CIS frameworks to establish a zero-trust posture, supporting cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or CS.
• 3–5 years in a cybersecurity or network risk analyst role.
• Certifications CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+.

Responsibilities

• Monitor internal and external network traffic for suspicious behavior and early signs of compromise.
• Identify critical vulnerabilities across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments using vulnerability scanners and real-time analytics.
• Analyze risk factors and emerging threats using advanced tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, and firewalls.
• Block intrusions through real-time threat hunting, firewall rules, endpoint monitoring, and automated policy enforcement.
• Respond to alerts by investigating root causes and preventing reoccurrence through forensic analysis.
• Apply NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, and CIS security frameworks to establish a zero-trust posture.
• Strengthen enterprise-wide architecture with layered security controls across endpoints, servers, applications, and cloud workloads.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps and engineering teams to implement security within agile development processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design policies and frameworks that integrate with regulatory compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
